         CUCKOO CLOCK

Sittin' in my old arm chair,
With a lot of time to spare.
Kinda wondering how it would be,
        If we didn't have T. V.
Tired of watchin' roll and rock,
And lookin' at the Cuckoo Clock.
In a minute more or two,
He'll step out and say Cuckoo.
Says the same thing every 'night,
'Till I sometimes think he's right.
Weights is almost to the floor,
        Cuckoo crouched behind his door.
Listening to that slow tick tock,
So he'll have a chance to talk.
Now the time is almost two,
Soon he'll tell me I'm Cuckoo.
        So I guess it ain't a crime,
If he wants to tell the time.
I might sleep the morning through,
        If he didn't scream Cuckoo.
